Florida Highway Patrol arrested Uriel Garcia Nestor, 25, who is alleged to have had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.121.
Nestor was booked on charges of driving while under the influence with serious bodily injury, driving while under the influence with property damage, and driving with a suspended license with serious bodily injury, according to the release.
"This incident is a stark reminder of the dangers impaired drivers pose to our community," Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said in the press release.
