What started as a 68-team field has been whittled to South Carolina and Iowa, which face off Sunday afternoon for the women's basketball national championship. And there could be plenty of drama.
Caitlin Clark's finale will be the swan song for the all-time leading scorer in college basketball, and she wants to put an exclamation mark on her four-year career before she heads to the WNBA. The Gamecocks' chance for a third title in seven seasons, all under coach Dawn Staley, would define them as a dynasty. And all eyes will be on center Kamilla Cardoso, who injured her right knee during South Carolina's Final Four win over NC State.
